Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Hyperlink Locker, operated by Lucia Goode ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Hyperlink Locker, you agree to these terms.
1. What Hyperlink Locker is
Hyperlink Locker is a web application that helps event organisers, producers, and teams organise links, documents, and statuses for their projects. It is provided as-is, on a subscription or trial basis.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account with others (each person who needs editing access should have their own seat). You must be at least 13 years old to use Hyperlink Locker.
You may only create one account per licence key. Licence keys are non-transferable and valid for one year from the date of activation.
3. Free trial
New users may access Hyperlink Locker for 14 days at no charge. At the end of the trial, your workspace data is retained but access is locked until you purchase a licence. You will not be charged automatically — there is no credit card required to start a trial.
4. Paid licence
A paid licence is required after your trial ends. Licences are sold as annual subscriptions at the price listed on our website at the time of purchase. Your licence is valid for one year from the date of activation.
Renewals do not happen automatically. We will send you reminder emails before your licence expires. To renew, purchase a new licence on Gumroad and enter the new key in your account settings.
When you renew before your current licence expires, the new year is added on to your existing expiry date (you don't lose any time you've already paid for).
5. Refunds
If you are not satisfied with Hyperlink Locker, contact us within 14 days of purchase at contact@hyperlinklocker.com and we will process a full refund, no questions asked.
6. Your data
You own the content you create in Hyperlink Locker — the event names, links, notes, and statuses are yours. We don't claim any rights over your workspace data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is stored and handled.
We are not responsible for the content of any external links you store in Hyperlink Locker. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store and share any links or documents you add.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Hyperlink Locker to:
- Store or share illegal content or links to illegal material.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data.
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Hyperlink Locker application.
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Hyperlink Locker available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or changes to the service at any time. We will try to give notice of planned downtime where possible.
9. Limitation of liability
Hyperlink Locker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data. Our total liability to you in any circumstance is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll note the date at the top when we do. Continued use of Hyperlink Locker after changes means you accept the updated terms. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lucia Goode operates. Any disputes will be resolved in good faith, and we'll always try to work things out directly with you before resorting to formal proceedings.
